Our Baby Room accommodates children aged 3 months to 2 years, where our focus is on security and attachment. Our caring and experienced staff provide close contact and nurture throughout the day. We support overall development through play, repetition, singing and a stimulating environment.
The Baby Room has its own outdoor play space for the children to enjoy. We also have triple buggies in order to take the children for walks around Delancey Park.
The ratio in the Baby Room is 1:3 with a maximum of 10 children at any one time.
Our Toddler Room takes children from 2 to 3 years, where they are supported to develop their language and social skills. We encourage children to learn to explore through different forms of sensory play, linking to songs and rhymes, and prepare them to move up to Preschool by encouraging independence and confidence.
The children are able to access our large outdoor playground on a daily basis, as well as going on regular walks around Delancey Park.
The ratio in the Toddler Room is 1:4 with a maximum of 12 children at any one time.
Our Preschool Room takes children from 3 years until leaving to start Reception.
We support children to become ready for school by encouraging independence, developing concentration skills, looking at books and listening to stories, talking to adults and asking questions. Day-to-day learning is encouraged with a variety of activities to stimulate young brains and develop physical, intellectual, language and social skills, as well as fine and gross motor skills. We encourage children to make friends and play well with their peers, so that they learn to value one another as individuals.
Preschoolers are able to access our large and interactive outdoor playground on a daily basis, as well as going on a daily walk around Delancey Park.
The ratio in the Preschool Room is 1:8.

We are extremely lucky to be able to use Delancey Park to enhance our children’s learning. The children love taking small buckets to collect their treasures whilst on walks, and on sunny days they enjoy sitting at the top of the playground to watch the birds. ’Walks in the park’ regularly feature in child’s voice surveys as a favourite activity.
